MetaTrader 5 Highlights UniPayment Integrated Account Funding

Updated: Fresh

MetaQuotes highlighted UniPayment’s integration with the MetaTrader 5 built-in payment system, saying the setup allows traders to deposit funds directly from the platform.

The company published the update after an iFX EXPO International 2026 interview with UniPayment co-founder Paul Mendoza. MetaQuotes said traditional account funding often requires traders to leave the platform, log in to a broker client area, choose an account, and then complete payment. The integrated payment flow is meant to reduce those steps by keeping deposits inside MetaTrader 5.

MetaQuotes said funds can become available almost instantly, which can matter when traders need account balances updated quickly during active market conditions. The post also said UniPayment works with hundreds of brokers worldwide and expects demand for built-in payments to grow because of convenience and speed.

Why it matters

Funding workflow is part of the trading experience, even though it sits outside charts and order tickets. Faster in-platform deposits can reduce friction for clients and give brokers a cleaner path from account management to trading activity.

For traders, the key issue is not only speed. Integrated payments also raise practical questions about supported regions, payment methods, fees, refund handling, and how clearly brokers disclose deposit timing and risks inside the platform.

What to watch next

Watch which MT5 brokers turn on UniPayment or other built-in payment providers, whether funding status becomes visible in trading-platform account tools, and whether regulators scrutinize payment prompts inside leveraged trading environments.
