Luramic Launches Native Liquidity Access for MetaTrader 5 Brokers

Updated: Fresh

MetaQuotes said Luramic, a regulated institutional liquidity and execution provider, has launched a liquidity platform for brokers, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms using MetaTrader 5.

The announcement says the service gives brokers access to pre-aggregated institutional liquidity across a broad range of instruments through MetaTrader 5’s built-in infrastructure. MetaQuotes said that native connectivity is designed to reduce the need for external bridges, gateways, or separate aggregation setups when brokers connect to Luramic.

Luramic is also described as integrated with the Ultency ecosystem, with infrastructure in major Equinix financial data centers including LD4, NY4, TY3, HK1, and SG1. MetaQuotes said the setup can route order flow directly through MetaTrader 5 infrastructure and dedicated cross-connects, which is meant to reduce network hops and improve execution stability.

Why it matters

Liquidity connectivity is one of the less visible parts of a trading platform, but it directly affects spreads, execution quality, and operational resilience. For MT5 brokers, a native liquidity connection can make it easier to add or switch institutional liquidity without stitching together multiple third-party components.

For traders, the practical impact depends on whether their broker adopts the service and how that broker configures pricing, routing, and risk controls. The update is still relevant because more integrated liquidity plumbing can influence execution conditions during fast markets.

What to watch next

Watch whether MT5 brokers announce live Luramic integrations, which asset classes are made available first, and whether broker disclosures show measurable changes in spreads, latency, or rejection rates after adopting the connection.
