eToro Launches App Store for Trading and Analytics Tools
eToro said on April 14 that it has launched the eToro App Store, a marketplace inside its platform where users can install trading and analytics applications built by developers, partners, and quantitative strategists. At the same time, the company introduced a builders portal with API access, technical documentation, CLI tooling, and other resources for third-party app creators.
According to eToro, launch categories include algorithmic trading, social analytics, market monitors, portfolio tools, smart watchlists, and feeds or community integrations. The company said apps can plug into low-latency order placement, portfolio tracking, and instrument or user-feed data, while users can install listed apps in a single click.
CEO Yoni Assia described the release as a way to give developers direct access to eToro’s retail audience and give traders more flexible tools built around their own workflows. eToro also noted that rollout will depend on market eligibility and that more app categories are planned later this year.
Why it matters
For traders, this is a platform-depth update rather than a cosmetic one. If eToro follows through, users could get more specialised tooling without leaving the broker’s environment, especially for automation, monitoring, and strategy support.
What to watch next
The next signal is app quality, not launch language. Watch which developers join first, which tools are approved for distribution, and whether eToro adds tighter controls around automated trading risk as usage grows.
